Chapman´s Peak Drive
Take a drive from Cape Town along the coast towards Cape Point to experience one of the probably the most beautiful roads in the world. On the way you will go on the picturesque Chapman’s Peak Drive and Noordhoek before getting to Ostrich farms and Cape of Good Hope nature reserve with free walking animals. Take the way back via Simons Town and Muizenberg beach around False Bay.
Cape Point
Also called Cape of Good Hope. This is the most famous southern part of Africa if you don’t want to drive to L'Agulhas for two hours and visit the "real" most southern part of Africa. It is truly a nice view when you are at the edge of the cliff around the lighthouse and looking over the two oceans on each side.
Boulders Beach
Visit the penguin colony and walk among the penguins. You can even take a swim with them for a small fee to enter the beach. Lunch can be enjoyed in Simons Town or Kalk Bay close to Boulders Beach.
Hout Bay
Market on saturdays
Constantia
Constantia is South Africa's oldest wine producing region. Today it's an easy 20 minute drive from the centre of Cape Town. Groot Constantia is definitely one of the country's well known wine estates. Other wine estates in the area are Constantia Uitsig, Klein Constantia, Buitenverwachting and Steenberg.
As you look out across the Vineyards with a glass of Constantia’s chilled Sauvignon Blanc, it may be hard to believe that you are only 20 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. Constantia is all about eating and drinking and is home to some of the country’s finest restaurants and wine estates, including the famed La Colombe restaurant.
